A formerly wholly owned subsidiary of Hewlett-Packard, in 2000 CoCreate became an independent privately held company. With sales offices spanning three continents, the company began fifteen years ago developing CAD software using technology based on dynamic modeling specifically intended for use by design engineers. In addition to providing CAD software tools, today the firm develops collaboration tools that assists companies in managing complex design data.
OneSpace.net is a lightweight collaboration tool for engineering data and project teams. It includes a secure project workspace, integrated meeting center for web-based meetings, application sharing, instant messaging, decision and task tracking and a 3D model explorer for evaluating product designs. OneSpace.net can be used by all design project team members, including non-CAD experts involved in partnerships from manufacturing, procurement and supply chain. To simplify adoption, OneSpace.net provides an easy to use interface and is tightly integrated with Microsoft tools such as Outlook. Program modules include an online project team workspace, a meeting center, a 3D model explorer and optional converters.
