TOTVS is a software management company. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software development is the core business of the company, complemented by its expanded business model. In the Brazilian and Latin American market, TOTVS holds 50.1 percent and 22 percent of the small and medium business ERP market share, respectively. It was the first IT company to go public in Latin America and has a portfolio of more than 17,000 active customers supported by 5,000 employees. The company provides management, systems, process, performance, and infrastructure solutions to the market by means of its six business segments: software, technology, business process outsourcing (BPO), consulting, infrastructure, and e-learning.
Microsiga Protheus is platform-independent enterprise resource planning (ERP)
and customer relationship management (CRM) software based on the TOTVS TEC
architecture. Developed to address the demand for
results-driven process management, Microsiga Protheus is flexible and
easy to use, and can be customized either independently, or with assistance from
TOTVS. Based in Brazil, TOTVS also has offices and clients in
other countries, including Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and Portugal.
The Microsiga Protheus ERP solution is based entirely on Microsoft
technology.
