Founded in 1988, Biuro Projektowania Systemów Cyfrowych SA (BPSC SA) develops and implements computer-aided management support systems. BPSC's tools are designed to enable organizational process optimization and Web-based operation. BPSC's flagship product is Impuls 5, an Oracle-based manufacturing resource planning (MRP) II/enterprise resource planning (ERP) management support system for manufacturing, trade, and service companies. Impuls 5 is used by over 430 companies in a variety of industries. BPSC has been an Oracle partner since 1994, and was the first company in Poland to be granted the right to use the "Powered by Oracle" logo.

The Impuls 5 system is an integrated company management support package, compliant with the MRP II/ERP standard. Designed for medium and large manufacturing, trade, and service companies, Impuls 5 includes applications that support capital, personnel, logistics, production, customer relationship management (CRM), and document flow management. Using Impuls 5, authorized users can access up-to-date information about all internal organizational processes.

Impuls 5 is suitable for multidivision enterprises, and is modeled on the economic processes used by companies operating in Poland. Its modular structure allows customers to configure a solution that meets their requirements. Impuls 5 can also be integrated with special-purpose applications to meet the needs of different business sectors.

Impuls 5 is designed to work with Oracle 9i and 10g database servers. It operates in local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) using a client/server or three-tier architecture.
